Circulation

Library Cards
Books and other materials can be borrowed by using a Grundy or Bucks County Library Network card. Library cards can be obtained at the library. There is no charge for a new library card.
There is a $3 fee to replace a lost card. Please report lost cards and changes of address immediately.

Loan Periods
3 Weeks: Most books, paperbacks, audio books,compact discs, and magazines
2 Weeks: New books and computer software
1 Week: Videos (VHS and DVD formats) and video games

Item Limits per Card
20 paperbacks
10 items that can include: 3-week books, compact discs, or computer software
5 new books and 5 audio books
10 magazines
5 video cassettes, DVDs, video games

Overdue Fines
20 cents per day on most items
$1 per day on computer software, videos and video games

Renewals
If not reserved for another user, library material with standard borrowing periods may be renewed two times and library material with seven or fourteen day borrowing periods may be renewed for one time. You may renew items checked out at the Grundy Library by calling 215-788-7891 ext. 5. Please have your library card number available when calling.

Library material may also be renewed in person at the library or by accessing the online library catalog from any computer connected to the Internet. Go to Bucks County Library Network and log in using your library card number and PIN. To renew online, you must have a valid library card and PIN, have no overdue material, no outstanding fees or fines, and the item must not be reserved for another user.

Items that were originally checked out at another library cannot be renewed by telephone.

Returns
All items may be returned inside the library or deposited into the book drop located outside the library.

The Grundy Library accepts returns from other Bucks County Network Libraries.
