- Ask Here PA: Ask Here PA is a service for Pennsylvania residents, Pennsylvania students, and/or Pennsylvania-related questions. The service is designed to provide fast answers to your questions, using information found on the Internet and in proprietary databases funded by libraries.
In most cases, Ask Here PA librarians will provide an answer online in 15 minutes or less! If your question involves lengthy research, we'll get you started and/or provide a referral for you or your question.

- AutoRepair Reference Center: Complete automotive repair information, as published by Chilton, through POWERLibrary.
- Ancestry Library Edition: Ancestry Library edition is one of the most important genealogical collections today and is a complement of HeritageQuest Online. This collection of 4,000-plus databases and 1.5 billion names extensively covers U.S. and U.K. census, vital, church, court, and immigration records, as well as record collections from Canada and other areas.
- Factiva: FACTIVA provides essential business news and information not available on the web together with the content delivery tools that enable professionals to research companies, industries, or any news. (Limited concurrent access; if you cannot access, please try again in a few minutes.)
- HeritageQuest: An online genealogical database for searching U.S. federal census records, family and local histories, directories, church records, tax lists, and more.
- Learn-a-Test: Learn-a-Test provides practice tests with uniques test preparation study material designed to help students and adult learners succeed on academic or licensing tests. Immediate scoring, complete answer explanations and individualized analysis of results are also provided.
- Morningstar: Research over 30,000 stock and mutual funds and ETFs. Build and analyze an investment portfolio, learn about stocks, mutual funds, and portfolios.
- NetAdvantage: Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage is a comprehensive source of business and investment information, offering on-line access to popular Standard & Poor's research products such as Industry Surveys, Stock Reports, Corporation Records, The Register of Corporations, Directors and
Executives, The Outlook, Mutual Fund Reports among others.
- NetLibrary: A collection of books available to read online. Choose from the POWERLibrary menu below for access to a netLibrary subscription.
- POWERLibrary: Over 40 searchable databases for children and adults. POWERLibrary provides access to thousands of full text periodical articles, a major encyclopedia, photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials, and more.
- Proquest: PROQUEST provides access to thousands of current periodicals and newspapers, many updated daily and containing full-text from 1986. Includes extensive back files of archival materials.
- RefUSA: The No. 1 source of information on businesses and people for researchers, students, job seekers and government agencies.

- EBSCOHost Research Databases: Provided by Bucks County Community College, MLA International Bibliography offers a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920s and contains over 1.8 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series and 1,000 book publishers. The indexed materials coverage is international and includes almost 60 titles from J-STOR’s language and literature collection as well as links to full text.
- LexisNexis Academic: Provided by Bucks County Community College, Lexisnexis Academic gives access to over 6,000 news, business, and legal sources. The outstanding news coverage includes deep backfiles and up-to-the-minute stories in national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, and non-English language sources. Use the included Company Dossier module to retrieve detailed company information and financial performance measures or identify and compare companies matching specific criteria. This product also provides access to the renowned
Shepard's Citations® service for all federal and states court cases back to 1789.
- Literature Criticism Online: Literature Criticism Online is designed to provide easy access for readers of all ages and skill levels. Beginning-level users may simply enter an author or title and find a wealth of content, while experienced researchers may broaden or narrow their results via cross-searches on names of critics, journal titles, topics and more. The 10 individual Thomson Gale series that comprise Literature Criticism Online represent a range of modern and historical views on authors and their works across regions, eras and genres.
- Newsbank: The electronic editions of record for valuable local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers--all in one easy-to-search database. Each paper provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community.Paid ads are excluded. Full-text articles from The Philadelphia Inquirer (1981-present), The Bucks County Courier Times (Nov 2002-present), and The Intelligencer (Nov 2002-present) as well as other American newspapers.

- Newsbank: The Historical Philadelphia Inquirer: The Historical Philadelphia Inquirer contains full text issues spanning June 1834 through December 1844, resuming in July 1860, and continuing through December 1922.
- The Reader's Advisor ONLINE: The Reader's Advisor Online provides readers with helpful assistance to identify books of interest. It provides suggested reading lists based on a variety of topics including award winners, genres, author read-a-likes, series, time periods, characters, and more.
- Access NewspaperARCHIVE: contains tens of millions of searchable newspaper pages, dating as far back as the 1700s. It is your gateway to searching and reading historical newspapers online. Search for full-text articles from a wide selection of U.S. and foreign newspapers including Bucks County Courier Times (1966-1977) and Bucks County Gazette (1873-1915).

- Safari Books Online: Provided by Bucks County Community College, Safari Books Online is the electronic reference library that delivers expert content from the world's most trusted leaders in technology publishing to professionals worldwide. Safari offers the combined collections from O'Reilly Media, John Wiley & Sons, Addison-Wesley, Peachpit Press, Adobe Press, lynda.com and many more top publishers in one fully searchable database. IT, software developers, web designers, system administrators and creative pros use Safari as their primary resource for research, problem solving, learning and certification training.
- Wilson Web: Provided by Bucks County Community College, Bibliographic Index, a reference classic for over 60 years, has now become Bibliographic Index Plus, adding full text bibliographies from journals across a broad range of disciplines. Turn to this cumulative bibliography of bibliographies
for convenient answers to a variety of research questions in all areas. Researchers will appreciate the in-depth indexing of more than 530,000 bibliographies published in English, German, Dutch, and the Scandinavian, Slavic, and Romance languages, including over 185,000 full-text bibliographies provided. Education Full Text, is the WilsonWeb journals database crafted to meet the unique information needs of education students, professionals, and policy makers — now delivers the full text of 29 additional sources from Springer, plus 12 years of full text from the classic library trade magazine Wilson Library Bulletin. The recent additions expand on the database's coverage of an international range of English-language periodicals, monographs, and yearbooks.
