General Collection

The Grundy Library’s collection of more than 60,000 items contains a wide variety of materials for all ages including books, magazines, journals, books on CD, music CDs and DVDs. Large print and Spanish language books are also available. To locate materials, search the Library Catalog.

Special Collections

BRISTOL HISTORY COLLECTION

The Grundy Library houses a rich collection of materials pertaining to the history of Bristol Borough and surrounding areas. These resources include:

  • Bristol city directories
  • Cemetery transcriptions
  • Bristol High School yearbooks
  • Bucks County Courier Times (1911-present on microfilm, Nov 2002-present online)

NONPROFIT RESOURCE CENTER

In a unique partnership, the Margaret R. Grundy Library, United Way of Bucks County, and Bucks County Community College have created the Nonprofit Resource Center (NRC) to better serve Bucks County’s grantseekers, grantmakers, and nonprofit organizations.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS FOR CHILDREN & TEENS

The library has several special collections for children including print materials like board books, beginner reader titles, and graphic novels. Books on CD, music CDs, DVD’s, summer reading and Reading Olympics books are also available. 

For teens, the library offers graphic novels and books on CD in addition to print materials. Summer reading books and Reading Olympics books for Middle / Junior and Senior High Schools are also available. 

GRUNDY ON THE GO

This special collection is located in the library at the Lower Bucks Campus of Bucks County Community College. Their students are permitted to check out materials from this collection, which includes books, audio books and movies.
