Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library
Nonprofit Resource Center (NRC)

Overview

In a unique partnership, the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, United Way of Bucks County, and Bucks County Community College have created the NRC to better serve Bucks County’s grantseekers, grantmakers, and nonprofit organizations.

Nonprofit Resource Center (NRC) resources are located at the Grundy Library, where the hardbound nonprofit collection is augmented by access to software and assistance furnished by the Foundation Center of New York, the nation’s leading resource on philanthropy. Professional staff are available during Library hours to assist with the use of these resources.

The United Way of Bucks County provides training and sponsors workshops to support nonprofit boards, staff, and volunteers including counseling to grantseekers and grantmakers in order to maximize efficiencies and adhere to best practices. UWBC also assists in volunteer recruitment.

Bucks County Community College staff, including the BCCC Libraries and Coordinator of Grants, assist in promoting the Nonprofit Resource Center materials, and college students are recruited as volunteers for nonprofit organizations.
