  • First Thursday Events

    Movie Night - Scheduled for June 5, 2008, this treasure film, starring actor Nicolas Cage, revolves around the discovery of a missing page from the diary of John Wilkes Booth. Call 215-788-7891 ext. 5 to register.

    Movie Night - This fun-filled film, scheduled for July 3rd, is a modern musical adaptation of a classic beautiful princess and evil queen story. Call 215-788-7891 ext. 5 to register.

    Movie Night - See the tale of the Parisian rat who has extraordinary culinary skills on August 7, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Call 215-788-7891 ext. 5 for the movie details and to register.

  • Other Events

    The History of the Delaware Canal - On Tuesday evening, June 24th at 7:00 pm, join Sarah Bellois, of the Delaware Canal State Park, as she presents a program highlighting the 100 year history of the Delaware Canal, its people, canal life, and its modern day transformation.   • Knitting
    Thursdays at 6:30 pm. Contact Mrs. Evelyn Griga at 215-788-7891 for more information.
    All skill levels are invited to join this informal knitting group on Thursday nights at the library. Novices are encouraged to attend as instruction is provided while more advanced knitters can take advantage of troubleshooting services.

  • Book Discussions
    Book Discussions are held the last Wednesday of the month.

    June 25th - One Thousand White Women: the journals of May Dodd by Jim Fergus.

    July 30th - Thief by Markus Zusak

    August 27th - The Mistress's Daughter by A. M. Homes.

    Brown Bag Book Discussions are coming! Beginning in September 2008, on the last Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm, there will be a second opportunity to discuss the month's title. Call 215-788-7891 ext. 5 to register.
